As graduation ceremonies continue this week at several colleges, we celebrate our newest Doctors of Veterinary Medicine – the Class of 2026!
This year’s grads were first-year students when I was new to CVM Canada, visiting the colleges. A number of them got involved in the Christian fellowships, and have stayed involved throughout their time in school:
- Five of our 2026 grads have attended our Real Life Real Impacts – some have come to more than one event
- Four have already served in short-term missions with us (both international and domestic)
- One of our new grads is stepping into leadership on the CVM Canada board this month
- Many have expressed their intent to stay involved in our CVM community as they begin their careers
I am exceedingly grateful for each of our new doctors and the light they carry into the world for Christ! Your support makes it possible for CVM Canada to be here for them, as an encouraging community of faith, and as a place of opportunity to serve Jesus together through veterinary medicine.

Missions Impact: Content where He wants me

This past March, I had the privilege of going to Nicaragua with CVM. The trip I went on was equine-focused, which suited me well since that’s mostly what I work on at home as a large animal vet in a mixed practice. Nicaraguans use horses and mules for transportation, herding cattle and even getting to school.
