Animal bridges to Hope

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11

As I reflect on the year 2025, I want you to know how valued you are in the CVM Canada family. I’m grateful for you! Thank you for helping to make this a year of growth as we build animal bridges to hope.

With God’s guidance this year, together we have helped CVM Canada to:

*Send 44 Canadians on short-term projects in Canada and six other countries! Treating hundreds of animals, caring and praying with owners, teaching and training, extending God’s love into communities

*Serve our four school fellowships through more visits, activities, fundraising support, study resources, and prayer support

*Bring our Real Life Real Impact retreat to Atlantic Canada for the first time, for student and professional refreshment and challenge

*Connect constituents for two new professional fellowships

*Investigate opportunities for domestic indigenous ministry expansion

*Support through admin – so our vet professionals and students can fundraise to serve short and long-term, travel to the retreat, network, and more

God’s love was expressed so fully in his coming to earth, to dwell among us, in human form. He is the reason for our celebrations this Christmas season, and the hope we have for every day.

May our Saviour, Christ, fill your heart with comfort, joy, and gratitude this season!

Serving together,

Canadians on Mission: Alaska – Serving and seeing God’s hand

By Dr. Hannah Meinders

I’m a vet from Manitoba. In August, my first opportunity to serve on a short-term trip with Christian Veterinary Mission was realized, as I joined the mission to Hoonah, Alaska. This is the second year that a trip to Hoonah has been organized.
